Goodlede is operated by Wag Media, LLC. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Goodlede website at goodlede.com and any related pages or features (the "Service"). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
Goodlede is a curated good-news service. We use a two-step AI-assisted process, with human editorial review, to find recent positive developments and re-check each one against a reputable source before publishing. The Service links to third-party sources and provides original verification commentary; it does not republish full third-party articles.
We work hard to verify what we publish and to strip out hype, but we do not guarantee that any item is complete, current, or free of error, and we are not responsible for the content of the third-party sources we link to. Nothing on the Service is professional, legal, medical, financial, or other expert advice. Before relying on anything that matters to you, confirm it against the linked source and any other authority you trust.
We may change, limit, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time and without notice. We are not liable to you for doing so.
You agree not to scrape, harvest, crawl, index, or systematically copy, download, or extract any content from the Service, whether by automated means or otherwise. You agree not to reproduce, republish, redistribute, resell, or otherwise use the content of the Service in bulk or as part of any product, dataset, training corpus, AI model, or competing service. No license to do any of the foregoing is granted by these Terms.
Permitted sharing is limited to: (a) sharing individual story URLs, and (b) using the share links provided on the Service to post individual stories to social media or send them by email. Bulk copying, automated harvesting, and systematic reproduction for any purpose are expressly prohibited.
You also agree not to use the Service unlawfully; interfere with, overload, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or its systems; or reverse engineer or attempt to extract source code except as the law expressly permits. We may terminate access for conduct that, in our judgment, violates these Terms or harms the Service or others.
The Goodlede name, look, and all original text we produce — including our verification commentary, editorial summaries, and site copy — are owned by Wag Media, LLC or its licensors. All rights are reserved. The underlying news, headlines, images, and articles belong to the third-party sources we link to; these Terms grant you no rights in that third-party content. No part of the Service may be reproduced, copied, or distributed in any form without the prior written permission of Wag Media, LLC, except for individual sharing as described in Section 4 above.
If you contact us, you confirm you have the right to send what you send, and you grant us permission to use your message and your email address to respond to you and to operate and improve the Service. Please do not send confidential, sensitive, or unlawful material through the contact form.
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, and non-infringement, to the fullest extent permitted by law.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Goodlede and the people behind it will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss arising from your use of or inability to use the Service or from reliance on anything published on it. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to one hundred U.S. dollars (US$100).
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules, and you agree to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in New York for any dispute that is not otherwise resolved.
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the effective date above, and your continued use of the Service after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
